Bovie Screen Process Printing Co., Inc. has been in the business of supplying roll labels to commercial and industrial customers since 1950. In recent years the demand for these types of labels has increased greatly as specialized applications for product identification, inventory control, and user safety have grown considerably. Our roll labels are generally made from thin gauge films or papers with pressure sensitive adhesive on the back and are printed via letterpress, hot stamp foil, flexo, or thermal transfer methods. Labels can be made that are tamperproof, have consecutive or static bar codes, and that have standard sequential numbering. A polyester or Lexan overlaminate, or a printed clear coat can be added to any of our roll labels to give them a longer lifespan and increased durability. Additionally we have the ability to apply overlaminates that will allow for thermal transfer printability, dot matrix printability, and imaging by laser printer. Roll labels are cut to their final shape by steel rule die when run on a letterpress and by rotary tooling when flexo printed. Punched liners for pin-feeding, perforations, or tabbed overlaminates can all be added to any label depending on your application requirements. Bovie also has a full service art department and computerized color matching systems for letterpress and flexo inks. Any of your designs and color requirements can be successfully reproduced to your satisfaction at our facility. Bovie has obtained UL/CSA certification for a number of combinations of our roll label materials. See our UL page here. In addition to these certifications we are also able to create roll labels that comply with RoHS, and that meet certain MIL specifications. |
