Cut vinyl lettering has become more and more popular with our customers in recent years. Cut vinyl lettering is exactly as it sounds; letters are cut out of thin gauge vinyl, the waste is stripped away and what remains is a string of letters or symbols that are in perfect relation to each other and that can be applied to a surface all at once. Cut vinyl lettering – often called pre-spaced pre-mask - is often seen on vehicles as a method of branding or decoration and is also common place in store signage. This method of imaging is highly cost effective when used to mark large areas such as store front windows or the sides of shipping trailers.

Another benefit to cut vinyl lettering over a standard label printed on clear material is that cut vinyl lettering provides a much sharper, cleaner look when applied to its surface. When letters are printed on just a clear background and then applied to a surface as a rectangular decal, often air bubbles will trap in the clear portion of the label which can lead to the label having poor finished appearance. With cut vinyl letters the only thing being applied to the finished surface is the letters themselves, leaving no concern for irregularity in appearance due to trapped air or adhesive clouding.

Cut vinyl lettering can be created out of standard colored vinyl available off the shelf, or we can screen print or digital print colors and designs prior to cutting the shapes if your job requires something more custom designed. We have a full service art department at our disposal as well as fully computerized color matching for all printed inks. Give us a call with your next cut vinyl lettering project and we will make certain that you get what you require.
